Drake University will hold information sessions this summer for students who are interested in taking courses in Ames toward a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) degree. Classes for the two-year Ames M.P.A. cohort program are held on weekends, and courses are taken one at a time to allow in-depth exploration of each topic.
Applications for the Fall 2016 cohort, which has an emphasis in Executive Leadership Development, will be accepted through Aug. 1, 2016. Information sessions will take place at the Ames Chamber of Commerce, 304 Main St., and Mary Greeley Medical Center, 1111 Duff Ave. Classes are held in Mary Greeley Medical Center.
All meetings at the Ames Chamber of Commerce will be held in the Kingsbury Room. All sessions will begin at 11 a.m. and end at 1 p.m. Information sessions are available at the Ames Chamber Commerce on the following dates:
- Wednesday, March 2
- Wednesday, April 6
- Wednesday, May 4
- Wednesday, June 1
- Wednesday, July 6
- Wednesday, Aug. 3
The sessions at Mary Greeley Medical Center will be held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Information sessions will be held on the following dates:
- Wednesday, March 23 in Room North A
- Thursday, April 5 in Room North A
- Thursday, May 19 in Room North B
- Tuesday, June 14 in Room North C
- Thursday, July 14 in Room North C
- Tuesday, Aug. 2 in Room North C
