For the first time in Iowa, the Drake University School of Education is offering a Workplace Big Five Certification Program. The program will be offered November 4-6 in the Pomerantz Conference Room in Olmstead Hall.
The Workplace Big Five is a powerful tool designed to measure personality traits and capacity for competencies. This personality instrument is specifically developed for the workplace and carefully reviewed by labor lawyers. The Workplace Big Five can be applied to leadership development, team building, diversity training, conflict management, sales, and customer service training. The tool is also recommended to support executive coaching processes, employee engagement initiatives, succession planning, and employee selection.
The Workplace Big Five has been adopted by major organizations such as Swarovski, FedEx, the U.S. Department of Commerce, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and the Center for Creative Leadership.
