A total of 39 students created online portfolios using the WordPress content management system in this semester’s J105 Web Design class.
In addition to learning WordPress, students learn how to write HTML and CSS code, how to purchase domain names and hosting, how to interpret Google Analytics data, how to optimize content for search engines (SEO) and how to critique websites. Instructor Chris Snider teaches the class.
