Tracy Baim, JO’84, will visit campus on Thursday, March 8, as the SJMC’s 2012 “Community in Diversity” visiting professional.
Baim is founder and publisher of Windy City Media Group, Chicago’s largest gay-oriented media organization. She has written books on gay history and politics, produced movies and is a frequent contributor to national publications. She has received multiple awards for her journalism and community work.
She will speak to classes and deliver a public lecture at 7 p.m. in Cowles Reading Room on “LGBT Media: Evolution of a Revolution — Crafting a career based on your interests, skills and passion.”
Baim’s schedule is copied below. She will be available to meet informally with members of the Drake community during her break times in Mer. 111.
