Post-doctoral Researcher Professor Gong Chen will present a lecture titled “U.S. and China Trade Issues” on Friday, Feb. 10, 2012 at noon in Cartwright Hall Room 205.
Professor Chen will discuss the China-U.S. economic relationship, explaining the systems in both China and the U.S., and suggest methods of resolving China-U.S. trade disputes.
She will also discuss current issues including: the China -U.S. trade imbalance, China’s currency, non-tariff trade barriers, and the free trade agreement.
Gong Chen is an Associate Professor of Law (Ph.D.) at Sichuan International Studies University, China. She is a post-doctoral research scholar working with Professor Hunter R. Clark at Drake University Law School.
Her post-doctoral research program is supported by the Chinese government, China Scholarship Council.
