Dr. Cris Wildermuth has earned the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI). To become certified, an applicant must pass a rigorous comprehensive examination and demonstrate a strong background of professional human resources experience. The HRCI is the credentialing body for human resource professionals and is affiliated with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the world’s largest human resources professional association (250,000 members in over 140 countries) . The Institute’s purpose is to promote the establishment of professional standards and to recognize professionals who meet those standards.
After receiving her certification, Dr. Wildermuth was appointed by the Iowa SHRM State Council as the new HRCI Director. Her duties will involve assisting Directors of Certification at the various Iowa SHRM chapters as they provide certification preparation and recertification opportunities for their members.
