Musical theatre class presents free cabaret to the public

Twenty-three
first-year musical theater majors and minors as well as some upper-class students will perform a “Musical Theater Cabaret” at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11.

The
event, which is free and open to the public, will be held in Studio 55 on the lower level of the Harmon Fine Arts Center, 25th Street and Carpenter Avenue.

Students will perform solos from classical and
contemporary musicals as well as duets and a large group number. The
cabaret performance is part of the Musical Theater I course taught by Karla Kash, assistant professor of theatre arts.
