Pakistani Minister of Food and Agriculture Nazar Muhammad Gondal
and Malik Zahoor Ahmad, director-general of Pakistan’s National Animal and Plant
Health Inspection, will participate in a roundtable discussion starting at 3:30 p.m. today in the Honors Lounge of Medbury Hall, 2730 Forest Ave.
The discussion, which is free and open to the public, will cover a variety of issues in Pakistan, including flooding and food safety.
Both speakers are fluent in English and have come to Des Moines this week to participate in World Food Prize activities.
