Des Moines ҬAlumni who participated in theatre at Drake are invited to return to campus for a two-day reunion on Friday, Oct. 22, and Saturday, Oct. 23. ҬӬ
Graduates who participated in and alumni who majored in theatre will gather Friday for a master class, a welcome reception and a cast party and dinner at the home of Bill “Doc” Coleman, professor emeritus of theatre arts, and composer Linda Robbins Coleman, FA’76.
“¨”¨”Through hundreds of e-mails, telephone calls and Facebook postings, many Drake theatre arts alums say they are planning to attend the reunion,” Bill Coleman said. “Response has been great, including six alumni from my first year at Drake in 1966.”
ҬӬSaturday will include small group and panel discussions, with opportunities to interact with current theatre students and a reunion reception in Studio 55 of the Harmon Fine Arts Center in the evening.
“¨”¨”Linda and I believe that it will be a memorable weekend, filled with good friends, great memories and valuable networking,” he added. “Join Linda and me, along with other faculty and alumni, in this wonderful weekend of reconnection, rejuvenation and recreation!”
