With enrollment numbers strong, Drake has “attracted the right number of high-quality students,” said Drake Provost Michael J. Renner.

“In these times of continued economic turbulence, this is cause for celebration,” he added. “We are also very fortunate to welcome a very talented and well-credentialed group of new faculty to Drake this year.”

New students will notice changes to campus that took place over the summer.

Drake completed a total renovation of the Hubbell North dining facility and began construction of the Patty and Fred Turner Jazz Center, adjacent to the Harmon Fine Arts Center. In addition, room 104 of Harvey Ingham is being redesigned and will open in a few weeks.
