Drake University will continue the spring International Film Series Sunday, March 7, with a showing of “En la Puta Vida,” a South American film.

The movie, presented by Drake’s Center for Global Citizenship, will be shown at 2 p.m. in room 101 of Meredith Hall, 2805 University Ave.

“En la Puta Vida” is both humorous and serious in its examination of South American women, poverty and white slavery. The film follows two women who want to open their own hair salon and turn to prostitution to earn the start-up money.
