The Drake University National Alumni association recently elected nine alumni to the Board of Directors.
- Ann Alexander Anklam, 1972 graduate of the School of Education
- Jonathan Azu, a 1999 graduate of the College of Business and Public Administration
- Paul Doucette, a 1997 graduate of the College of Business and Public Administration
- Marisa Gift, a 2002 graduate of the School of Arts and Sciences
- Janelle Feddersen Holmes, a 1990 graduate of the College of Business and Public Administration
- Greg Wilde, a 1970 graduate of the College of Business and Public Administration
- Ted Thoms, a 1992 graduate of the School of Arts and Sciences
- Sharon Wilkinson, a 1968 graduate of the School of Education
- Tamara Lair, a 1987 graduate of the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences
The Board of Directors is dedicated to facilitating alumni understanding of the plans and goals of the University, providing a vehicle for suggestions and consulting alumni on matters of significance. They also promote meaningful relationships between alumni and Drake.
“We are thrilled to add this group of talented and active alumni to the board,” said Blake Campbell, director of alumni and parent relations.
“Each has already shown a tremendous commitment to Drake University and their fellow alumni since leaving campus. The work of the Alumni Association Board of Directors is extremely important to the success of our office and programs; their feedback and support is invaluable.”
The mission of the Drake University National Alumni Association is to provide both the University and the alumni with a channel for the imaginative and meaningful participation by alumni in the life and future of Drake University.
