The Drake University/Community Chorus will hold its first rehearsal of the fall semester from 6:30-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 25.  Any singer interested in joining the chorus may do so by attending the rehearsal, which will be held in Monroe Recital Hall on the lower level of the Harmon Fine Arts Center, 25th Street and Carpenter Avenue.

The chorus will join Drake Choir to perform Mahler’s Symphony No. 2, also known as “Resurrection,” with the Des Moines Symphony this fall. Rehearsals will continue weekly on Tuesdays from 6:30-8 p.m. in preparation for the performance.

The Drake University/Community Chorus is a non-auditioned ensemble open to all Drake students, faculty and staff, as well as any interested singers in the Des Moines area. There is no fee for membership.
