Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee, former governor of Arkansas, will speak at Drake University on Tuesday, Dec. 11. The speech, which is free and open to the public, is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. on the Pomerantz Stage in Olmsted Center, 2875 University Ave.

Following the speech, there will be an informal reception from 7 to 8 p.m. in Parents Hall on the upper level of  Olmsted Center, where Huckabee will play his bass guitar and invite student musicians to jam with him. Huckabee has his own band, Capitol Offense, but the band isn’t scheduled to play with him at Drake.
