The fall series of Drake University’s “Let’s DU Lunch” will kick off with a speech by Keno Davis, Drake’s new men’s basketball coach, on Wednesday, Sept. 12.
“Let’s DU Lunch” is open to the public and sponsored by the Drake University Central Iowa Alumni Chapter and the Greater Des Moines Partnership.
The series will continue on Wednesday, Oct. 3, with Des Moines Public Schools Superintendent Nancy Sebring. Chief Justice of the Iowa Supreme Court Marsha Ternus, a graduate of Drake Law School, will conclude the fall series on Wednesday, Nov. 7.
Cost is $15 per lunch or $36 for all three luncheons. The luncheons will be held at the Polk County Convention Complex, 501 Grand Ave., and begin with networking at 11:30 a.m., followed by lunch and the program at noon. Reservations are recommended due to limited seating.
