Lorentzen Student Hatchery Information Session [Academics]
6:00 PM - 7:00 PM @ Meredith 124C\, Innovation Studio In the Lorentzen Student Hatchery, Drake students have the opportunity to spend a summer building their own business. The Hatchery provides a unique experience for any Drake student – undergraduate or graduate – to earn up to $10,000 over the 2018 summer while working for themselves. Both teams and individuals are welcome to apply. Naim Ateek's talk on Palestine [Academics]
7:00 PM - 8:30 PM @ Sussman Theater\, Olmsted Center Rev. Ateek, originally from Palestine, is an ordained Anglican priest who has served as Canon of St. George’s Cathedral in Jerusalem and is the founder and director of Sabeel Ecumenical Theology Center in Jerusalem. His talk will be an opportunity for the Drake community to hear a perspective that is seldom heard on the Palestinian issue and one that is informed by deep theological reflection.
