Pharmacy alumni, faculty and students can now view professional pharmacy fraternity composites online in a digital photo collection.

The College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences’ Professional Pharmacy Fraternity Composites Web site offers digital photographs from 1932 to present.

“In making the professional fraternity composites available digitally, we are able to preserve an important part of our college’s history,” said Renae Chesnut, associate dean for student affairs and associate professor of pharmacy practice.

“There are a number of memories that are behind each and every one of the composites and we hope that our alumni enjoy reminiscing as they view them,” she added.

Users can search by name or year and find historic and new images from fraternity groups Kappa Psi, Lambda Kappa Sigma and Phi Delta Chi. In addition to viewing the composites, viewers can zoom in for a close-up look at individuals.

Not all years are represented, however, and missing composites are still being collected.

Photographs that are not included in the archive should be sent to:

College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences,
2507 University Ave., Des Moines, Iowa, 50311

The digital collection is housed in the Cowles Library digital collection

The Web site can also be accessed through the Drake Alumni Web site at https://wwww.drake.edu/cphs/alumni.php.
