It’s time to attend your class reunion!

Several Drake classes will reunite this spring to share great memories, make merriment and reconnect with good friends and their alma mater. Details and names of “lost” class members are available on the Drake alumni reunions Web site.

The classes of 2001, 2002 and 2003 will enjoy a five-year cluster reunion on Saturday, April 28, during Drake Relays. The party will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. on the Pomerantz Stage Area in Olmsted Center. Cost is $10 per person. Also during Drake Relays on Saturday, April 28, the classes of 1986, 1987 and 1988 will celebrate a 20-year cluster reunion from 6 to 9 p.m. in the ballroom of The Temple for the Performing Arts, 10th and Locust streets, Des Moines. Cost is $25 per person for those who RSVP before March 6 and $35 per person after March 6. The classes of 1957, 1947 and 1937 will celebrate milestone reunions during Drake’s Commencement Weekend, May 10-12. Numerous events are scheduled, from tours of campus and Des Moines to induction of the Class of 1957 in the 50-Year Club on Friday evening, May 11, at the Des Moines Club. Class members also will be invited to don gold robes and walk through the commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 12, and enjoy the celebratory Annual Alumni Awards Dinner that evening.
