Pramod B. Mahajan has an extensive background in research and teaching related to biochemical and molecular pharmacology, genetics, and biotechnology. His research interests focus on understanding the molecular mechanisms of DNA damage and repair. Mahajan has taught in Drake's College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences since 2008. He received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Poona, in Poona, India. He speaks three foregin languages: Marathi, Hindi, and Urdo.
