Alumni activities abound

Thanks to all of our great alumni volunteers throughout Central Iowa who helped with the Des Moines Arts Festival in late June. Thanks to your help, we raised more than $3,100 for local alumni programs and our Central Iowa Alumni Chapter.

Drake Bright(ens) up Stadium

Shortly before the game begins, the Drake Stadium field will be dedicated in honor of Drake's greatest athlete, Johnny Bright. Bright brought power and glitz to the Bulldog football backfield in the late 1940s and early '50s.

Drake campus expands worldwide

Drake University has signed new exchange agreements with three universities abroad, creating new options for students. The new exchange agreements are with Fachhochschule Weiner Neustad in Weiner Neustad, Austria; University of Verona in Verona, Italy; and Kwansei Gakuin University in Nishinomiya, Japan.
