Jerry Foxhoven, executive director of the Neal and Bea Smith Legal Clinic and professor of law at Drake University Law School, was recently named the 2016 recipient of the Friend of Children Award from the Coalition for Family and Children’s Services in Iowa.

According to data recently compiled by Drake Law School’s Career Development Office, 92.3 percent of the Drake Law Class of 2015 was employed 10 months after graduation, which ranks 36th out of 204 law schools nationwide and is well above the national average.
