Moot court teams compete at nationals
Since 1990, Drake’s teams have placed either first or second in the region – meaning a team has qualified to compete in the National Finals in New York City 19 out of 24 years, including a 2013 National Championship by the ABA Client Counseling team.

Drake Law presents public lecture on lethal injection secrecy
Eric Berger, associate professor of law at the Nebraska College of Law, will discuss lethal injection secrecy and the Eighth Amendment due process at a lecture on Monday, Sept. 8 at 4 p.m. in the Drake University Law School, Room 213. The lecture is free and open to the public.
Onwuachi-Willig to present ‘Racial Discrimination and the 60th Anniversary of Brown v. Board of Education’
Angela Onwuachi-Willig will serve as the 2014 Constitution Day Speaker at Drake. The title will be, “Re-Articulating the Harm of Discrimination: An Examination of Brown v. Board of Education at 60.”
Drake welcomes global practitioner in residence
As the Drake Law Global Practitioner in Residence, Prof. Wilson will teach a course entitled Separatist Movements. This course will examine the implications of separatist movements using the Scottish referendum as a starting point.
