Before graduating from law school, one student has already won two jury trials and a case before the Iowa Supreme Court. Austin Mouw, a third-year law student at Drake, received the good news on Friday: the Iowa Supreme Court ruled in favor of his client.

Drake University Law School, Drake University, and Des Moines University student organizations will host the 3rd Annual Community Easter Egg Hunt for children ages 2-12, starting at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 4.

AAJ Mock Trial team advances to nationals
The Drake Law School AAJ Mock Trial teams competed in the Omaha regional tournament in mid-March. The Drake teams finished with a combined 9-1 record, with the sole loss resulting from one Drake team defeating the other in the regional final.

Two Drake Law ABA appellate advocacy teams advance to nationals
Drake Law will have strong representation at the American Bar Association (ABA) National Appellate Advocacy Competition in Chicago in early April.
