Drake University’s Zimpleman College of Business is pleased to honor the latest cohort of students named to the Dean’s Honor Roll for Social Impact. In the Spring 2025 semester, four students collectively contributed approximately 165 hours of community service.
To receive this recognition, each student completed and recorded a minimum of 20 hours of volunteer service, participating in meaningful projects that benefit the community. In addition to their service, students thoughtfully reflected on their experiences, offering insights into how their efforts made a difference and supported their own personal and professional growth.
The students named to the Spring 2025 Dean’s Honor Roll for Social Impact include: Katie Jones, Erika Roehrs, Isabella Schreiter, and Olivia Wilhelm.

“Service is becoming a defining part of the student journey here at Zimpleman,” said Alejandro Hernandez, dean of the Zimpleman College of Business. “As we celebrate the fifth year of the Honor Roll for Social Impact, I’m proud of our students’ dedication and excited to see how they’ll continue making a difference in the communities that shape and support us.”
The Zimpleman College of Business invites all undergraduate and graduate business students to pursue recognition in the upcoming fall semester cohort. Each term, students can earn this honor by completing at least 20 hours of community service and submitting reflections on their experiences.
Service hours are recorded using Drake University’s DUGood platform. Learn more about the Dean’s Honor Roll for Social Impact, such as participation guidelines and how to log your service.
