Drake University’s Zimpleman College of Business is proud to recognize the most recent cohort of students named to the Dean’s Honor Roll for Social Impact. During the Fall 2024 semester, nine students collectively contributed approximately 270 hours of community service.
To earn this distinction, each student dedicated and documented at least 20 hours of volunteer service, engaging in meaningful projects that made a positive impact on the community. Beyond their service, students reflected on their experiences, sharing insights into how their contributions positively impacted the community and contributed to their own personal and professional development.

“It is inspiring to see service become embedded in the student experience at Zimpleman,” said Alejandro Hernandez, dean of the Zimpleman College of Business. “As the Honor Roll for Social Impact completes its fourth year, we look forward to the continued contribution of our students to the communities where we live, learn, and work.”
The Zimpleman College of Business encourages all undergraduate and graduate business students to strive for inclusion in the upcoming spring semester cohort. Each semester, students have the chance to earn this distinction by completing a minimum of 20 hours of community service and providing reflections on their experiences.
