As Drake University continues its efforts of leveraging higher education to make a positive difference in the world, the University is excited to announce its Executive Education program will now live under the Zimpleman College of Business. This strategic decision comes after Drake University reflected on the program’s vision as well as the prospective students and organizations it intends to impact through its innovative curriculum. A search for the next director of the Executive Education program is also underway as part of this shift.

Over the last nine years, more than 1,000 professionals have been shaped by Drake’s Executive Education program through its open-enrollment and custom non-degree leadership offerings. By moving it under the Zimpleman College of Business, the program will continue to have a major impact on professionals across the Midwest and beyond. Now, it will have the added benefits of the applied knowledge and relevant business resources of the University’s globally accredited business school.

“Through rigorous curricula, creative teaching methodologies, and partnerships with top regional employers, Drake has successfully cultivated a new breed of accomplished leaders who are driving positive change in companies, organizations, and communities alike,” said Alejandro Hernandez, dean of the Zimpleman College of Business. “Placing these offerings at the Zimpleman College of Business will further amplify their influence and unlock even greater potential for our program participants, local businesses, and the broader community.”
