The NCTA – The Internet and Television Association scholarship will allow a deserving female communications/media undergraduate student to create an original piece (digital short, video, animation, multi-media or other concept chosen by the student) that will be featured in NCTA and AWMF media distribution channels. In addition, the chosen student will receive a scholarship to their educational institution for $10,000 and a ticket to attend the Gracies Leadership Awards in the Fall of 2023.
The deadline to apply is May 26, 2023. Visit https://allwomeninmedia.org/foundation/scholarships/ for more scholarship opportunities and information.
Bulldogs Pack and Give Back Meals from the Heartland volunteer opportunity
With Relays just around the corner, most of us can barely hold our enthusiasm when thinking about all the fun festivities soon to come. In this spirit, the Student Senate Community Engagement Committee wanted to host an event that not only helps the community but is also lots of fun. That’s why Student Senate, in collaboration with SAB, is hosting Bulldogs Pack and Give Back, a large-scale, meal-packaging event through Meals from the Heartland.
The event is on Friday, April 21, at 1 PM in Parents Hall. We will make 20,000 meals with 75 volunteers, sending half of it to local food pantries and half of it to people across the globe that need it.
If you’re interested, go to bit.ly/BulldogsPack and sign up!
Short-term work opportunity: Drake Relays Parking
