On April 29-30, Drake University will host its second All-Pharmacy Reunion during the Drake Relays.
The gathering will also celebrate the appointment of the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences’ new dean, Renae Chesnut. Activities throughout the weekend will include a function in the Morgan E. Cline Atrium Hy-Vee Student Learning Commons, tours of new and renovated spaces, socials with fraternities and other affinities, and the all-alumni tent party on Saturday evening that will include a celebration for the establishment of the Richard Morrow Transformational Leadership Fund.
A group of CPHS alumni have been active in planning the reunion. “I agreed to help because I loved my experience at Drake and felt very close to the group that I graduated with. It has been so much fun getting re-acquainted with the college while serving on the CPHS NAC (National Advisory Council) that I thought it would be good to share that feeling with my friends,” says Tony Bono, PH ’78. Bono has been reaching out to classmates and encouraging them to attend.
The committee is hoping to match or exceed the number of people who attended the 2011 reunion—200. Make plans to return to commemorate and celebrate the college and its progress!
