Drake University Law School has been ranked #16 in the 2015 Best Value Private Law Schools by The National Jurist.
This marks the third year in a row Drake Law School was included in the list.
The best value rankings, which were featured in the magazine’s Back to School 2015 issue, are based on a variety of academic and financial variables, including bar exam pass rates, employment rates, tuition, cost of living, and average debt at the time of graduation.
“Once again Drake Law School is recognized for its real values of teaching and learning, while being a best value school. These are some of the real benefits of a Drake Law education,” said Ben Ullem, dean of Drake Law School.
Drake was also named the sixth Best School for Small Law in the country. Small law includes firms with between two and 100 lawyers.
To determine the ranking, The National Jurist weighted the percentage of recent graduates that landed small law jobs at 70 percent and recent graduates that landed big law jobs at 30 percent. Forty-seven percent of Drake Law School’s class of 2014 landed a small law job.
