Drake University Law School is once again hosting its annual General Practice Review on Dec. 10-11 at the Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center in Des Moines.
The General Practice Review is part of Drake University’s Continuing Legal Education programs.
Attorneys can attend both days of the event to earn a total of 15 credit hours, including 8 federal hours and 3 ethics hours, or they can attend one of the days to earn 7.50 credit hours. The 3 hours of ethics satisfies the Iowa State Bar’s new ethics requirement.
Topics that will be covered during the event include criminal practice and procedure, real estate, family law, ethics and Iowa legal practice, administrative law, bankruptcy, employment law, insurance, and more.
Early bird registration, which ends Nov. 23, is $365 for two days or $215 for one day. After Nov. 23, registration is $415 for two days or $255 for one day. Lunch is provided both days.
