The Drake University College of Business and Public Administration is accepting applications for certificate programs that allow students and working professionals to add advanced credentials to their resumes without pursuing a degree.
The college’s eight new graduate certificates are ideal for professionals who want to advance their careers through knowledge in a specialized area of study. Certificates are offered in Financial Asset Analysis, Financial Decision Making, Health Administration and Policy, International Business, Nonprofit Leadership, Public Policy, Risk Management and Insurance, and Taxation.
The certificate program may be particularly appealing for students who already have a master’s degree, but who are looking to supplement their education with additional skills or further their pursuit of lifelong learning. Students take five or six courses from within the college’s master’s programs—Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, or Accounting—alongside degree-seeking colleagues.
Candidates are invited to apply to the fall, spring, or summer semesters. The deadline is December 15, 2014, to apply for the spring semester. Visit https://wwww.drake.edu/cbpa/grad/certificates/ for more information or contact Dianna Gray at dianna.gray@drake.edu or 515-271-2188.
