Business Record readers voted Drake’s Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) program as best in the metro area for the eighth year in a row in the publication’s “Best of Des Moines” survey.
Because of Drake’s commitment to excellence, students graduate ready to be leaders and overcome the challenges of today’s dynamic, global economy. Students in the M.B.A. program at Drake have the opportunity to develop a wide range of skills, including communication, critical-thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, analytical competency, creativity, risk-taking, and the ability to work in diverse teams.
“We are obviously thrilled to be selected again this year by the Business Record’s readers as the best M.B.A. program in Des Moines,” says Danette Kenne, assistant dean of graduate and professional studies in Drake’s College of Business and Public Administration. “Drake is committed to meeting the expectations of the students and organizations we serve and appreciate the confidence they have in us to do so as reflected by this selection.”
The M.B.A. program at Drake has a longstanding history of graduating prominent leaders in the Des Moines community, including Larry Zimpleman, chairman, president, and CEO of the Principal Financial Group; Pat Meyer, president and CEO of Pella Corporation; and Doug Olson, executive vice president of Meredith Corporation.
