The Foundation of the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) recently awarded a scholarship to Cherié Moen, administrative assistant to Drake University Provost Deneese Jones, to attend the Education Forum and Annual Meeting (EFAM) 2014 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on July 26–30.

EFAM is a career training and networking conference for administrative and office professionals. The 50 scholarship recipients will have access to 68 hours of education, one-of-a-kind networking with like-minded colleagues from around the world, and the opportunity to meet with representatives from some of the most important providers of products and services for administrative professionals.

Moen has been a member of IAAP since 2013. Prior to moving to the Des Moines area, Moen lived in Fargo, North Dakota where she worked at North Dakota State University from 1998–2012. Moen earned her certification as a Certified Administrative Professional in May 2014, and is a 2014-2015 IAAP Association Influencer. She is also a member of the National Association of Professional Women.

Moen will be honored during EFAM at an awards and recognition luncheon.
