Four easy ways to stay connected with Drake

Whether you’re in Drake’s backyard or halfway across the country, there’s a host of ways to connect with your alma mater and immerse yourself in the alumni experience.

1) Connect with us on social media:
Our Facebook page alerts you to events happening on campus and around the country, shares the great things your fellow alumni are doing, and shares Drake photos and stories that you won’t find anywhere else.

At more than 5,000 strong, our LinkedIn group is a great resource for networking, soliciting recommendations and feedback, and connecting with those in your field or community.

Maybe 140 characters is more your speed? We’re tweeting at @DrakeAlumni.

2) Join a Regional Advisory Board (RAB): Found in nine cities across the country and made up of alumni of different ages and backgrounds, RABs work to engage alumni in a community through different types of outreach and programming. Recent events range from lunch and learns to baseball games To get involved, visit www.alumni.drake.edu/rab.

3) Stay engaged in Central Iowa: Did you stick around Des Moines after graduation? Help us build a new presence from the ground up. Visit www.alumni.drake.edu/centraliowa to get involved on a committee, volunteer at an event, or learn about attending one of the many events hosted throughout the year. (Start with Drake Me Out to the Ball Game on July 7!)

4) Keep your information current: We know that jobs, phone numbers, and addresses change—and we want to know about it! Send your updated information to alumni.update@drake.edu. Keeping your records up-to-date, allows us to keep you informed on the great things happening in your area!
