Drake University offers one of Iowa’s only master’s degrees in literacy education, which focuses on 21st century strategies for improving reading skills.
The part-time, non-thesis degree is for educators with a desire to lead K-12 school reading initiatives, become literacy coaches, or learn new strategies to assist struggling students. Enjoy weekend and online classes designed for working adults and personalized instruction. Students can also add a reading or reading specialist endorsement.
