One of the best things about being a Drake University journalism student is the opportunity to cover national politics, thanks to Iowa’s key role in selecting the candidates for president.
On Saturday, Sept. 1, several of our JMC students attended a campaign rally by President Obama in Urbandale, Iowa. Professor Rick Tapscott’s Public Affairs Reporting class covered the event live and also provided coverage for The Times-Delphic.
