SOE Open House a Success

SOE Open House January, 2012.
Dipping and decorating mitten-shaped cookies was just one of many crafts provided at the SOE Open House.

On Tuesday, January 24th, faculty and staff of the School of Education gathered with their families for crafts, food and fun centered around a theme from the children’s book, “The Mitten.” Volunteers from Kappa Delta Pi, the International Honor Society in Education, helped make the event successful as they read to the children and assisted them in making crafts. Donations were accepted for the Young Women’s Resource Center a place for young women to spend time with friends, find support and enhance their self-esteem.
