Kale Van Bruggen’s article, Agriculture’s Fate Under Climate Change: Economic and Environmental Imperatives for Action, was recently published in the Chicago-Kent Law Review.
Van Bruggen, a Drake Law 3L, worked as an intern with his co-author, John Moore, Senior Attorney at the Environmental Law and Policy Center in Chicago.
According to the abstract, the article “examines how global warming affects agriculture, especially in the Midwest and Great Plains, and how agriculture contributes to global warming.
The article also summarizes proposed federal climate change legislation and the Farm Bill’s carbon-cutting energy programs.”
