Are you smarter than a Drake student? Come to the Project Q trivia competition to prove it.
Compete for great prizes from local business by showing your smarts in genres ranging from pop culture, sports, literature, movies and art to technology and geography.
Project Q is a trivia-based knowledge bowl competition and fundraiser for the Adult Literacy Center at Drake University, which is supported almost entirely by grants and donations.
The event will begin at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4, in Parents Hall. Olmsted Center, 2875 University Ave. The finals will be held at noon the next day, Saturday, Feb. 5, in Sheslow Auditorium, Old Main, 2507 University Ave. Preliminary rounds will consist of four rounds of multiple-choice questions and three rounds of short-answer questions.
Trivia teams may consist of a maximum of four players. Registration fees are $10 for students, $20 for staff and faculty, and $25 for community members. To register, download the registration application and fee schedule from the Project Q website.
Bring your completed form and check to the competition or mail the form with your registration fee to the Drake University Adult Literacy Center, Drake School of Education, 3206 University Ave. Registration forms will also be available on site.
In the final round, the winners will be determined and prizes will be awarded. Prizes include:

- Party pack to the Blank Park Zoo
