Members of Drake Jazz Ensemble One, under the direction of Fred and Patty Turner Professor of Jazz Studies Andrew Classen, will perform a free concert on Monday, July 5.
The open to the public event will begin at 6 p.m. at the Rotary Bandstand on Main Street in downtown Osceola. The band will perform selections from its upcoming European tour — July 8 to July 21.
The tour will feature stops in the Netherlands, Belgium, France and England, including performances at:
* The North Sea Jazz Festival in Rotterdam, the Netherlands
* The Birmingham Jazz Festival in Birmingham, England
* The Barber Institute of Fine Art in Birmingham, England
* The Wigan International Jazz Festival in Wigan, England
