Bulldogs’ running back Phaydavong leading rusher in Division I-AA
Drake Bulldogs’ senior running back, Scott Phaydavong, was featured in the Oct. 8, 2007, issue of Sports Illustrated in the “Faces in the Crowd” column. With over 5,000 career rushing yards, Phaydavong is the leading active rusher in Division I-AA with 5766 yards and 903 carries, with an average of 6.4 yards per carry. He surpassed 1,500 yards in each of his first three seasons and has 31 100-yard rushing games.
