Drake Offers Class on Broadway Musicals for Young Singers
Spotlight Express, a summer class at Drake University, offers students in grades four through eight the opportunity to explore music from Broadway shows. Classes will meet at 4 p.m. Wednesdays beginning June 20 in the Harmon Fine Arts Center, 25th Street and Carpenter Avenue.

Todd A. Lee, a 1997 graduate of Drake's College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, has been named the 2007 recipient of the Bernie J. O'Brien New Investigator Award from the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR).

A dozen Drake law students recently trekked around southern Iowa via tour bus with former Iowa Gov. Tom Vilsack, Drake visiting distinguished professor of law, and Neil Hamilton, the Dwight D. Opperman distinguished professor of law. The trip was part of a May interim course at Drake University Law School called Rural Lands Rural Livelihoods.

Pharmacy College seeks sponsors for white coat ceremony
Drake's College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences recently introduced what it is hoped will become a tradition with pharmacy alumni and students entering their first year of the professional program after completing two years of pre-pharmacy studies. Selected alumni and graduating pharmacy students have been invited to sponsor a white coat for an incoming P1 student.
