The Scholarship Committee of the Drake Alumnae Association of Des Moines plans to award six scholarships of $1,000 each. The scholarships will be awarded to current Drake students, and awards will be applied toward tuition for the fall 2007 semester.
The Drake Alumnae Association of Des Moines was established in 1920 to keep Drake alumnae and friends in touch with the University. Dues and member contributions support the scholarship fund.
To qualify, any Drake undergraduate student who is in good academic standing and is a junior, senior or a Pharmacy 1 or Pharmacy 2 student may apply. Applications are due to Emily Weaver, assistant director of alumni and parent programs, by Monday, April 2.
