Senior magazine students recently launched a new issue 515 magazine featuring Des Moines residents who are laughing their way to good health, energizing the city's cultural scene and tackling out-of-the-ordinary careers.

The Drake Law School National Moot Court team recently finished second in the regional rounds of the National Moot Court Competition. Drake will advance to the finals for the 16th time since 1990.

Drake recently celebrated a $1 million gift to the University's jazz program with a concert dedicated to Drake alumnus Fred Turner, retired senior chairman of McDonald's Corp., and his late wife, Patty, a Drake alumna.

Twenty-one CBPA faculty and staff members are teaming together in reading groups to explore leadership and new strategies for teaching students and demonstrating leadership in the workplace.
