Drake women's basketball Head Coach Amy Stephens recently announced that four high school standouts will join the Bulldog program for the 2008-09 academic year. Rachael Hackbarth from Colgate, Wis.; Brittnye McSparron from Appley Valley, Minn.; Alex Montgomery from Cannon Falls, Minn.; and Amber Wollschlager from Milbank, S.D. signed national letters of intent.

The transformation of Drake University's Olin Hall is turning heads on and off campus. The $4 million project caught the attention of the Illinois Chapter of the Association of Licensed Architects, which presented a 2007 Merit Design Award to the architectural firm of Chicago-based Holabird & Root.
