Lyle Middleton remembered for his devotion to children and education

Longtime Drake trustee and benefactor Lyle D. Middleton, LA' 61, LW'64, died at his Des Moines home on Dec. 1 after more than a 10-year challenge with Parkinson's disease.

Maddie Levitt leaves legacy of levity and remarkable generosity

In her final year as national chair of the ambitious $190 million Campaign for Drake, Maddie Levitt told Drake President David Maxwell that the University wasn't keeping her busy enough, so she had taken a three-day-a-week position in fundraising at Iowa State University.
