Forty-six teacher education candidates celebrated the completion of a successful student teaching semester on Tuesday, December 13 at Levitt Hall. Joining them in celebrating were mentor teachers, supervisors, Dean Janet McMahill, Associate Dean Catherine Gillespie, Coordinator of Field Placement, Amy Holderied-Smith, and Director of Student Teaching, Michelle Krogulski.
The music education student teachers provided festive carols, Dean McMahill shared “Information and Inspiration” for the Drake School of Education (SOE) graduates, and Sarah Jarnagin, B.S.E. Secondary Education and Troy Ellerbroek, M.S.T., each highlighted their student teaching semester and excitement about entering the teaching profession.
