Find out more about what Drake offers for graduate and professional studies at a Graduate and Professional Expo this Wednesday, Sept. 23, 4:30-6:30 p.m. in upper Olmsted. Representatives from the SJMC, College of Business and Public Administration, Law School, Pharmacy and Health Sciences, and School of Education will be available to discuss their master’s and doctoral programs. There will also be information about Drake’s non-degree professional development programs.

We Make Drake: Help shape the future

This is your opportunity to have your voice heard and to help shape the future of Drake. The findings of the Drake Campus Climate Assessment from last spring will be presented at two campus conversations this week. There will then be a series of small group discussions to identify specific action steps the university community can take to make Drake the best it can be. The campus conversations are:

International journalists to visit Drake

Students in Professor Lee Jolliffe’s First Year Seminar on grassroots politics Thursday will talk with a group of 20 journalists being brought to Iowa by the Iowa International Center in advance of the 2016 Iowa Caucuses. The journalists — who are from Algeria, Argentina, Armenia, Croatia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Italy, Nigeria, Paraguay, People’s Republic of China, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Taiwan, Tunisia, and Turkey — will also meet with Dean Kathleen Richardson and politics Professor Dennis Goldford.
