Counseling Students Engage in Service Learning Project

In the fall 2013 semester, School of Education counseling students engaged in a service learning project to provide personality and career assessment at Dress for Success, a local non-profit organization providing services for mostly underprivileged women in their careers. The program was well received by the participants and the organizers; counseling students are invited to provide the program in the spring semester. Although this program is not part of their coursework this semester, four counseling students, Megan Cecil, Jennifer Livingston and Tristin Potratz and Ashley West volunteered to continue to work with Dress for Success. We thank counseling students for creating this program as part of their service learning assignment and specifically Megan, Jennifer, Tristin and Ashley for their efforts to continue the program.
