The Iowa Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (IASFAA) recently honored Kristi Fuller with the John Heisner Memorial Lifetime Achievement Award. Fuller is the assistant director of continuing student programs in the Office of Student Financial Planning at Drake University, and was given the award at the IASFAA fall conference in Dubuque this past week.

The award is named in remembrance of John Heisner, who long served the operations and financial aid services at the Iowa College Student Aid Commission as director, dedicating himself to the support of students and financial aid professionals.

The very same dedication is sought after during the nomination process, exemplifying the ideals of service to the profession. This award is not given every year due to the substantial contributions required of its recipients over an extended time.

The John Heisner Memorial Lifetime Achievement Award is the highest award the IASFAA imparts to individuals.
