Identifying Bullying: Educators’ Legal Responsibilities

With growing public awareness of bullying being further broadened by recent films like BULLY and FINDING KIND, the issue of bullying is front and center in Iowa. In light of anti-bullying laws and new reporting requirements, what are teachers’ and administrators’ responsibilities in situations of bullying and harassment, and what resources and support are available? Drake University is gathering a multi-disciplinary panel of experts to explore the answers.
